Boston

Love this City!  So yeah! We got to play the TD Garden!  The home of the NHL Champion’s Boston Bruin’s and also home of the World Famous Boston Celtics!  Before the show I got to hang with my dude DJ B-Tips.  We headed to Karmaloop! Karmaloop is one of the leading Men’s and Women’s Streetwear Online shops in the WORLD.  This company was started by Greg Selkoe in his parents basement in the suburbs of Boston and now “Karmaloop.com… includes fashion and culture-oriented blogs, videos and contests.” (wiki)  I got to tour the  main offices of Karmaloop which consist of Karmaloop itself and sub-companies Plndr.com, Boylston Trading Company, Society, and home of KarmaloopTV.  KarmaloopTV has teamed up with Pharrell Wiliams to launch a new TV network.  Basically this guy Greg is kind of a genius.

My man Todd Kane brought me into Karmaloop to get interviewed for KarmaloopTV.com.  Big shout to the lovely Carissa Rossi who interviewed me.  I will post that as soon as they done editing it!  I got to tour the building and meet a lot of the employees.  The work environment is amazing!  Everyone is so relaxed.  No uptight business suits walking around.  No doors closed.  Everyone is open and free to be themselves.  Dogs are even allowed to come to work with you!  I was even told that at some point they even let people puff a joint here and there after work.  I think personally that this is how companies should be run.  Where people are free to be themselves and love what they do! If college students could see what type of environment this was they might work harder knowing that this type of “forward thinking in the business field” exist or able to be created!

As far as the show is concerned it was great to support Drake for the show! We were part of 94.5′s Monster JAM!  Other acts on the bill were Ace Hood, New Boyz, & T-Pain. Someone ask me if it was crazy to step in from of a packed TD Garden.  And yes it is. An amazing feeling.

WOW! Can’t thank everyone enough for sharing a piece of their work day with me!  Thanks to TODD, CARISSA, GREG, ISAAC, RICKY, HEATHER, ELLIOTT, MY DOOD DJ FUTURE, and just Boston itself for being an incredible city!
