My Name is DJ Bonics

To my surprise i got to rock a last minute special guest set at G-Lounge Philly (@gloungephilly) in the RIttenhouse part of the city! Heard lots of great things of the place and it didn’t disappoint! I got to rock alongside Jerome Baker from D.C. and it definitely went off!!! Thanks to Rob at G lounge, Long from DNA Nightlife, Erik, Bob, and all my friends who came to support Also big up to Jerome Baker for letting me rock!

Never realized what Sundance was.  A huge freaking party!  I thought it was just this up tight movie buff and critics going through a movie schedule. It’s a weeks worth of partying for the privileged who make it to Park City Utah for the Film Festival.  Although I didn’t to partake in any movie goings, we were invited to perform at the BING party!  Dj Mickboogie was the DJ along with other DJ’s in 3 floors of party madness! Wiz of course took the crowd to party and the place exploded when Black and Yellow blared out! Thanks to the wonderful people at BING who put on a great party!  It was nice to be back on stage with WIZ.   Enjoy the pics…

7 Springs opened up a International recognized Snowboard park called “The Streets”  Boarders from all over the world celebrated on this past Thursday for the opening of the Park!  I teamed up with Iron City and Seven Springs to beat the drum of the new Park.  After getting a flat tire, I had to borrow my buddies car and drive through basically a winter blizzard to make the party!  And YES it was very much worth it.  After a performance from PGH’s 123 and Wise Blood.  I ended the night with a dance floor full of drunk snowboarders goin in!  Yes it was a night to remember!  Thanks to Leigh, Tom Brown, the IRON CITY and 7 Springs Crew!  Here are a few candid pics below!  Make sure you check the park out I hear it’s one of the biggest in the East Coast!

HD: Happy New Year Bonics! What was your New Year’s resolution?

I just want to keep it positive for 2012. No negative around me! It’s all we have. Life is a JOY.

HD: Ok! Lets go way back. What was your first impression of Wiz Khalifa when you met him?

I met him when he was about 15 or so. He was just a kid but he was a very talented kid. I booked him for this show. He was in the early slot. There was barely anyone there. I remember his mom was there. Wiz still was impressive. Wiz was and is a very respectful.
